This pink Metzger & Söhne signature tin is filled with a selection of the most popular varieties from the original Metzger Lebkuchen range.
With plenty of Lebkuchen pralines in our mixed selection of 10 different varieties, you will enjoy a wide range of various marzipan varieties, fruit jellies, as well as fruit and nut fillings. You will also find varieties with plenty of candied and dried fruits as well as crunchy nuts in our Früchtebrot and Basler Lebkuchen. Aranzini honey cakes, Hauslebkuchen, Früchtebrot, Spatzen, Basler and a wide variety of Lebkuchen pralines.
The tin contains at least 40% filled Lebkuchen pralines and a total of 60% of the Lebkuchen are chocolate-coated. In addition, you will find approximately 10% Früchtebrot and Basler in the tin. To round off the selection, you will also find Haus in honey Lebkuchen in the Lebkuchen tin.
The original Metzger honey dough is exclusively "cooked" with honey from Austria and stored in its raw state for over half a year. This allows the dough to mature naturally, until it is processed into Lebkuchen with only spices and without the addition of eggs, fat, preservatives or flavourings.
Thanks to the honey in the dough, the Lebkuchen is particularly long-lasting. If the Lebkuchen becomes dry, Oma Metzger recommends: Place it in a tin overnight with a sliced apple.
Metzger Lebkuchen pralines are exclusively filled with high-quality Lübeck marzipan with 52% almonds. The particularly delicious roasted marzipan paste for Metzger Lebkuchen consists exclusively of almonds from the Mediterranean region.
The high-quality chocolate coatings delight with an intense chocolate flavour and combine perfectly with the Lebkuchen and the fillings. The chocolate is made only with cocoa butter without the addition of any other fats and refined with natural Bourbon vanilla.
