6 handmade Lebkuchen pralines filled with pistachio marzipan and nougat, coated in dark chocolate
The original Metzger honey dough is "cooked" exclusively with honey from Austria and stored in its raw state for over half a year. This allows the dough to mature naturally before it is processed into Lebkuchen with only spices, without the addition of eggs, fat, preservatives, or flavorings.
Thanks to the honey in the dough, the Lebkuchen has a particularly long shelf life. If the Lebkuchen becomes dry, Oma Metzger recommends placing it in a container overnight with a sliced apple.
Metzger Lebkuchen pralines are filled exclusively with high-quality Lübeck marzipan containing 52% almonds. The particularly delicious roasted marzipan mixture used for Metzger Lebkuchen consists exclusively of almonds from the Mediterranean region.
The high-quality chocolate coatings delight with an intense chocolate flavor and pair perfectly with the Lebkuchen and fillings. The chocolate is made exclusively with cocoa butter without the addition of other fats and is enhanced with natural Bourbon vanilla.
