This chocolate bar is an advent calendar: Every day in Advent you break off a piece and enjoy it. Packaged in the elegant Metzger & Söhne box, it is the ideal gift for the pre-Christmas season.
For the bar we use the premium milk chocolate with at least 40% cocoa content. It tastes harmonious and creamy. First comes the gentle sweetness of the milk chocolate, then follow warm cocoa and caramel notes, balanced and round. The chocolate melts velvety and smooth on the tongue, without feeling greasy or sticky. Natural vanilla brings a fine, subtle sweetness that elegantly accompanies the cocoa.
Tasting notes
- First impression: immediately creamy, with milk chocolate warmth and distinct cocoa, almost like a velvety milk coffee
- Aromas: milk and cocoa in harmony, plus natural vanilla, a light caramel note and a noticeable cocoa core
- Middle phase: round and full-bodied, with hints of roasted hazelnut, cream and a touch of cocoa butter
- Finish: long-lasting, velvety-creamy, with a gentle cocoa bitterness in the aftertaste. Not simply sweet, but elegant
- Texture: snaps easily when broken and melts slowly and evenly
- Sweetness: medium (approx. 5.5 out of 10), less sweet than a classic milk chocolate and therefore more intense in taste
- Pairs with: espresso, Earl Grey, ripe Brie or pure as an elegant everyday treat
