Boo! This Lebkuchen ducat is the spookily sweet greeting for Halloween. The design is printed on fondant and sits on a round disc (7 cm) made of original Metzger honey Lebkuchen – perfect for trick-or-treating, as a place card at the Halloween party or as a small gift in the office.
The original Metzger honey dough is exclusively “cooked” with honey from Austria and stored in its raw state for over half a year. This allows the dough to mature naturally until it is processed into Lebkuchen with only spices and without the addition of eggs, fat, preservatives and flavorings.
Thanks to the honey in the dough, the Lebkuchen has a particularly long shelf life. If the Lebkuchen becomes dry, Grandma Metzger recommends: put it in a container with a cut apple overnight.
