Furthermore, you will find varieties with many candied and dried fruits as well as crunchy nuts in our fruit bread and the Basler Lebkuchen, Aranzini honey cake, house gingerbread, fruit bread chocolate Lebkuchen sparrows.
The Saeckchen contains at least 40% filled gingerbread pralines and a total of 60% of the Lebkuchen are covered in chocolate. In addition, you will find about 10% fruit bread, Basler in the tin . To round off the mix, you will find house in honey gingerbread in the gingerbread box.
The original Metzger honey dough is "cooked" exclusively with honey from Austria and stored in its raw state for over half a year. This allows the dough to mature naturally until it is processed into Lebkuchen with only spices and without the addition of eggs, fat, preservatives or flavourings.
The honey in the dough makes the Lebkuchen particularly long-lasting. If Lebkuchen become dry, granny recommends Metzger: Put them overnight in an oven at tin with a sliced apple.
Metzger Lebkuchen chocolates are filled exclusively with high-quality Lübeck marzipan with 52% almonds. The particularly tasty, roasted marzipan paste for Metzger Lebkuchen consists exclusively of almonds from the Mediterranean region.
The high-quality chocolate couvertures enchant with an intense chocolate flavour, and combine perfectly with Lebkuchen and the fillings. The chocolate is made only with cocoa butter without the addition of foreign fats and refined with natural bourbon vanilla.
